Suzannah O'Reilly

Suzannah is a practicing artist and printmaker based in Limerick and Tipperary. She studied Printmaking at the Limerick School of Art & Design (LSAD) graduating in 1990 and later completed a Masters by research at the Crawford College of Art in 2004.

Suzannah is a part-time assistant lecturer in LSAD and teaches a variety of printmaking techniques and drawing in year one and AMD.

Suzannah exhibits on a regular basis and her work can be found in many public and private collections.

 Suzannah works across a variety of printmaking mediums and is constantly interested and influenced by new processes as well as the more traditional techniques. Her prints are generally combinations of techniques in one finished piece from photo etching, mono printing, silkscreen, chine colle, and collagraph.

The images and themes in her work are from a familiar environment, surroundings, and circumstance. This series of prints weave through the various imagery of landscape and interiors, the movement between these places/spaces and the relationship we have with them.
