Liam O'Neill is one of the leading Irish woodturners. His workshop is at Spiddal, Co. Galway. Alongside this marvellous collection of wooden bowls for everyday use O'Neill makes one-off sculptural pieces which are in many international collections. He uses only timber from trees felled through old age or natural disaster, usually ash, elm, Irish yew, cherry or beech. Because these are individual pieces woods may vary from those shown and supplies may fluctuate.
